In the cases of the officers who have been dismissed, no question as to pension arises, and in regard to those of the officers who have been permitted to resign and who in the ordinary course would be entitled to pension, I shall be guided by your decision on similar cases which have been referred to you in my despatch No. 214 of the 15th October last.
